ABOUt ME

I am a fourth year Media Advertising Student at Indiana University. The coursework in my major combined with my internships at Ketchum and Quad have stretched my knowledge and built my skills. I have a natural curiosity for advertising and I am passionate about the connection between creativity and strategy. I'm a midwest gal with a passion for global trends, culture and aesthetics. My unique approach to creating is to bring the medium to life through evoking emotion. My portfolio showcases my empathic spirit, passion for mixed mediums and pushing artistic boundaries.

  • Evoking emotion in a consumer is when advertising is at it’s best. I love identifying how to leverage emotional connections to build affinity and persuade an audience. In my Creative Content Development course I created a campaign for AirWick targeting young homeowners by tapping into the power of (good and bad) scents.

  • Throughout college and my summer internships, I expanded my knowledge of the media and marketing industries by working on a public relations initiative for Foot Locker, as well as a strategic advertising plan for Spirit Airlines that won the case competition judged by the creative team at 72andSunny. The second half of my Ketchum fellowship was devoted to creating an earned media campaign for Husqvarna. My small group’s campaign won first place, and was presented to the agency and client executives.

  • In all of my work, I challenge myself to raise the bar. I strive to build on my experience to make each new piece or project better than the last while infusing each piece with my signature style. I often approach a project by challenging tradition because the magic often happens when one defies convention.
